SHA-SRB Kits for Oil and Gas
The SHA-SRB single-use analysis kit detects the organisms most commonly associated with microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC), hydrocarbon reservoir souring, and biofouling in oil and gas operations. Molecular probes in this kit provide a taxonomic hierarchy to facilitate species identification of the most prevalent organisms but also higher taxa to assure functional SRB coverage.
The supervising analyst can deduce organism content by subtracting more specific components in the semi-quantitative report from approximate abundance of higher taxonomic orders. Semi-quantitation also provides vital data for assessing biocide effectiveness and time trends in individual wells.
THE SHA-SRB KIT IS AN ALPHA-STAGE DEVELOPMENT PRODUCT.
