Sandwich Hybridization Assay Kits (SHA)

Saigene offers ready-to-use SHA kits for different applications, and we offer the physical kit components for developers who wish to create new assays. These kits run on Saigene's Universal Assay Processor with the appropriate application library installed. The application library operates the system according to optimized protocols developed for specific kits.

The HAB kit contains a set of coated capture prongs, reagents, and a microtiter plate for detecting harmful organisms in samples of sea water and fresh water. Intended use includes samples to determine the risk of harmful algal blooms and presence of biotoxins. Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) developed these panels and capture probes.

SHA-SRB

The SRB kit contains a set of coated capture prongs, reagents, and a microtiter plate for detecting sulfate reducing bacteria (SRBs). It resists interference over a wide range of salinities, mineral content, sediments, and scale. Intended use includes samples of source water used in drilling and completion, reflow water, produced water, and waste water before waste injection or EOR by water flooding.

SHA-SRB

The R&D kit contains the physical components and certain reagents needed to prepare novel SHA assays that can run on the universal assay processor. It also includes instructions and helpful tips on developing practical assays based on the type of molecular target and capture agent being used.
